hi! i'm meredith, a self-taught silversmith based in southern california. i started calypso rabbit co. to house my growing collection of jewelry designed to withstand daily exposure to saltwater & sun, with sustainability at the heart of it all.

any piece of jewelry handcrafted by me, for you, is shaped from in-house recycled .925 sterling silver (see the FAQ section for more info on this) & ethically sourced raw materials, intentionally minimizing impact on the environment.

my work is largely experimental as i enjoy exploring new metalsmithing techniques across projects. from rings to charms to pendants & more, my jewelry aims to celebrate the unconventional, embrace imperfection, & ultimately showcase the organic nature of the mediums i work with.

no two pieces of jewelry on this site are ever exactly the same, so feel confident that whatever you might purchase from my shop is unlike any other piece that has left my bench before.
